OREAS 780

OREAS 780 is a fluorine-certified reference materials produced from a blend
of fluorite ore and host rock materials sourced from the Speewah project
operated by Tivan Ltd. This CRM is intended for calibration and quality
control of analytical methods quantifying fluorine (F) or calcium fluoride
(CaF₂) in carbonatite-hosted fluorite systems. It replicates mineralogical and
geochemical features of natural fluorite deposits.
OREAS 780 has been characterized using the following methods:
Borate Fusion XRF- Majors and some traces
F addon to fusion XRF package
F by ion selective electrode
4-Acid – Full ICP-OES and MS elemental suites
Certified values for applicable analytes are operationally defined for each
method, with results under OREAS ISO 17034 scope of
accreditation.
