OREAS 733 is a certified reference material produced from high-grade bauxite
ore. The ore is typical of lateritic bauxite deposits and has been
characterised using the following methods:

Bauxite suite by fusion with XRF, including Loss on Ignition (LOI) at
1000 °C
Borate/peroxide fusion with ICP-OES & ICP-MS finishes
Available Alumina and Reactive Silica by 145 °C BOMB digestion with
appropriate instrumental or classical finishes
Total Organic Carbon by infrared combustion furnace
Certified values for applicable analytes are operationally defined for each
method, with results included under OREAS ISO 17034 scope of
accreditation.
