OREAS 615
SKU: 615
OREAS 615 is a certified reference material prepared from a blend dominated
by silver concentrate and copper-sulfide concentrates from DeGrussa and Mt
Carlton, with Ag–Pb–Zn ore from Bowdens and a minor rhyodacite diluent.
Designed for calibration and routine QA/QC of multi-element geochemical
methods (e.g., FA for Au/Ag; multi-acid digestion ICP-OES/MS for base metals;
S/As/Pb/Zn pathfinders), OREAS 615 replicates the behaviour of concentrate-rich
polymetallic sulfide materials encountered in exploration, plant QA/QC and
metallurgical programs.
OREAS 615 has been characterized using the following methods:
Gold via 25-50g fire assay with AAS or ICP-OES finish
Silver via 25-50g fire assay with Gravimetric finish
Gold via 10-40g aqua regia digestion with ICP-MS finish or AAS finish
Sulphur by infra-red combustion analysis
4-Acid digestion for full elemental suite ICP-OES/MS finish
Aqua regia digestion for full elemental suite ICP-OES finish or AAS
finish
Certified values for applicable analytes are operationally defined for each
method, with results under OREAS ISO 17034 scope of
accreditation.
