{"product_id":"oreas-725b","title":"OREAS 725b","description":"\u003cdiv class=\"product-description\"\u003e\u003cp\u003eOREAS 725b is a certified reference material (CRM) prepared from a blend of \u003cbr\u003e\r\ngranodiorite sourced from Oaklands Quarry in Tullamarine, northern Melbourne \u003cbr\u003e\r\n(Victoria); a high-grade synthetic graphite concentrate; and a vein-type natural \u003cbr\u003e\r\ngraphite concentrate from central Sri Lanka.\u003cbr\u003e\r\nThe granodiorite is typical of Silurian granitoid units in the Melbourne Zone \u003cbr\u003e\r\nof Victoria. The natural graphite concentrate was derived from vein-type \u003cbr\u003e\r\ngraphite mineralisation sourced from the Queens Graphite Mine (QGM), located in \u003cbr\u003e\r\nthe Matale–Kurunegala Project area in central Sri Lanka. The synthetic graphite \u003cbr\u003e\r\ncomponent is a fine powder sourced from a commercial supplier. It is intended to \u003cbr\u003e\r\nsimulate natural graphite ore and enhance the carbon concentration of the \u003cbr\u003e\r\nCRM.\u003cbr\u003e\r\nOREAS 725b has been characterised for Total Graphite Carbon (TGC) by dilute \u003cbr\u003e\r\nacid (HCl) digestion followed by roasting at approx. 425 °C, then analysis by \u003cbr\u003e\r\ninfrared combustion furnace. Nineteen commercial analytical laboratories \u003cbr\u003e\r\nparticipated in the certification program of this CRM.\u003cbr\u003e\r\nHomogeneity was evaluated using 12 subsamples analysed in a single \u003cbr\u003e\r\nlaboratory.
